At Angsana Heritage Collection — Marrakech Riads, we believe every stay should uplift the place that hosts it. Under our Stay for Good promise, we turn hospitality into tangible impact across education, livelihoods, and resilience—rooted in Marrakech and its neighboring High Atlas communities.
Guests of the Marrakech Riads are invited to visit Sidi Fares for a meaningful, small-group experience: admire sweeping Atlas vistas, share a traditional lunch chez l’habitant, meet local families, and visit the school we support. This purposeful encounter connects your journey in the medina with the communities that give Marrakech its spirit. A portion of proceeds supports the Green Imperative Fund and ongoing water-resilience efforts.
The Green Imperative Fund is the cornerstone of our impact at the Marrakech Riads. In partnership with the village school of Sidi Fares (High Atlas), we support students and teachers with financial aid, supplies, and classroom resources—keeping learning accessible, enriching, and resilient. By investing in education just beyond Marrakech, we help unlock opportunity for the next generation while honoring the cultural heartland that inspires our riads.
With Eat for Good, our kitchens champion Marrakech’s terroir and traditions. We source legumes and seasonal produce directly from nearby growers and artisans to strengthen local economies and bring fresher, naturally flavorful ingredients to your table. Every dish reflects community collaboration and environmental stewardship—an authentic culinary journey that preserves local know-how and tastes of place.
Following the recent earthquake, our initiative in Sidi Fares focuses on restoring the village water system to ensure clean, reliable drinking water. Repairing damaged infrastructure meets urgent health needs today and lays the groundwork for a more resilient tomorrow—supporting recovery, stability, and dignity for our neighbors in the High Atlas.
