Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa
Perched above the Ionian Sea, Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa is a masterpiece of modern Greek island architecture, blending contemporary elegance with natural harmony. Conceived as a sanctuary where nature, culture, and contemporary elegance intertwine, the resort offers a holistic experience inspired by its surroundings, where each space feels connected to the rhythm of the island and the sea.
The resort’s architectural narrative captures the essence of Corfu’s Mediterranean charm, combining traditional forms with modern sensibilities. Warm stone, light teak, and expansive glass facades open to breathtaking sea views, creating a dialogue between indoor and outdoor living.
Each of the 37 Ionian pool villas and public spaces celebrates the balance between minimalist luxury and natural beauty, designed to evoke a sense of calm, comfort, and timeless connection to place.
The overall design of Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa was envisioned by the acclaimed Rockwell Group (New York) in collaboration with Banyan Group’s in-house design team. Inspired by Corfu’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, the design harmoniously fuses contemporary elegance with local craftsmanship. Airy interiors, warm wood textures, and an open-flow layout invite a constant dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces, while panoramic sea views frame every guest experience. Each area — from the infinity pool terrace to the intimate dining venues — reflects the philosophy of relaxed sophistication and connection to nature that defines Banyan Group’s vision.
The resort’s lighting design, crafted by Focus Lighting (New York), creates an atmosphere that transitions beautifully from sunrise to starlight—highlighting natural textures and architectural details. Landscaping by Doxiades & Associates integrates Mediterranean flora, including olive trees, herbs, and green roofs across 37 villas, echoing Banyan Group’s commitment to sustainability and wellness.
Every artwork and decorative element was commissioned exclusively for Angsana Corfu. The resort serves as a living gallery celebrating Greek artistry and local craftsmanship.

Local craftsman Manolis Martinis also created bespoke woodwork pieces, including the striking decorative feature at the A-Lounge bar—a true homage to Corfiot tradition.
Sustainability lies at the heart of Angsana Corfu’s design. The resort uses Burmese massive teak, African iroko wood, and marine-grade materials to ensure durability while maintaining a natural aesthetic.
The next phase of the resort’s development will introduce 40 new residential villas across the estate—continuing the legacy of design excellence. These villas will reflect the same architectural DNA of sustainability, wellness, and Mediterranean sophistication that define the Angsana Corfu experience.
