More than a journey out to sea, the experience invites guests to step into the rhythm of local coastal life, meet local fishers and learn how the ocean continues to shape the culture, livelihoods and everyday life of the island community.
Hands-on Coastal Experience
Set at OceanHub in the waters of Quan Lan, guests can explore the marine farming area by SUP, observe the daily life of local fishermen and take part in hands-on activities such as clam or oyster harvesting depending on the tide. Guests will also learn about oyster farming and preparation before enjoying freshly prepared local seafood in a memorable sea-to-table experience.
Learn, Connect & Make an Impact
Throughout the journey, the OceanHub team shares stories about marine life, sustainable fishing practices, ocean conservation and the importance of protecting the coastal environment.
Beyond creating a meaningful guest experience, the programme also supports local livelihoods by providing employment for at least five local fishermen and purchasing seafood directly from small-scale fishing households. By participating, guests gain a closer understanding of local fishing culture and marine conservation while contributing to a more sustainable relationship between tourism, community and the sea.
