Exceptional Sustainability Story

Personalised Family Fun

Every year, the people of Luang Prabang come together to celebrate Boun Ork Phansa. Marking the end of the Buddhist Lent festival, every street in this heritage town is lined with lanterns of various shapes and colours. Krathongs are also floated to the Mekong River as an expression of gratitude to mother nature. A krathong is a piece of tree trunk intricately decorated with flowers, banana leaves, candles and incense sticks. In 2017, the Bikerdike family stayed at the property during this festive period. Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum organized a spontaneous krathong-making class for the family of seven as an opportunity for them to immerse in the local culture and bond with one another.
