Built in 1887 by Chamarajendra Wadiyar X, Bangalore Palace's design was inspired by England's Windsor Castle.

Bangalore's modern art gallery houses an extensive collection of around 500 exhibits spread across two inter-connected wings. With artwork dating back to the early 18th century and a large number of works from contemporary artists, this gallery is a must-visit for art lovers.

The palace was the summer residence of Mysorean ruler Tip Sultan, and exemplifies the Indo-Islamic architectural style. The ground floor rooms have been converted into a museum showcasing the Sultan's life and achievements, along with vintage and modern paintings.

One of the oldest and largest botanical gardens in India, featuring glasshouses, ornamental flowers, rare birds and wildlife, exotic trees and other natural treasures spread across its expansive grounds.

Built in 1954, this massive building showcases Neo-Dravidian architecture with four domes on its four corners. It presently houses the legislative chamber of Karnataka as well as many government departments. While not open to the public, the building is strikingly illuminated at night.
