Songkran

Celebrate Thailand’s new year from April 13 to 15. Get splashed by water as the locals wash the old year away. Thai children will wash their elders' hands to ask for their blessings.

Loy Krathong

Watch the locals perform the ancient ritual of honouring the water spirit by floating a Krathong. Made of banana stalks decorated with folded banana leaves, flowers, candles and incense. Wait for sunset to start the festivities. Loy Krathong normally takes place in November.

Vegetarian Festival

Join this colourful event. Watch the Mah Song procession of mediums perform sacred rituals. Receive blessed candy and orange pieces of cloth with Chinese characters printed on for good luck. The Vegetarian Festival normally takes place in October.
