Lala Takerkoust Lake – Evasion (half day)

Only 20 minutes away from Marrakech, this lake is renowned for water sports (jet-skiing, canoeing, water skiing) and its wonderful hilly scenery; where one can find an oasis of calm and stillness during the hot summer months.

The Ouzoud waterfalls (1 day)

The waterfalls derive their name from the Berber word “Ouzoud” which means “olive”, owing to the many olive trees surrounding the foot of the falls area. Located approximately 150 km north-east of Marrakech, the Ouzoud waterfalls reach heights of 110 metres and are said to comprise over 20 drops. Having kept their pristine state thanks to environmental protection efforts from several local and national associations, the site is truly impressive and the most visited in the region. Adventure lovers may take a refreshing dip in clear waters and even rock climb, admire the water mills, and if they are lucky enough, observe whole troops of monkeys.
