Background
Palais Bahia
Built in the late 19th century by Si Moussa, the grand vizier of the Sultan for his personal use, the palace bears the name of one of his wives.
Medersa Ben Youssef
The historical building was built by artisans under the supervision of Saadien Abd Allah Al Ghalib in 1564-65. It was the largest Koranic university for students in sciences and theology.
Palais El Badi
The palace was commissioned by the Saadien Ahmed el Mansour Ad-dahbi to commemorate the victory of the Battle of the Three Kings in the year 986 of the Hégire (1578) over the Portuguese army.
Saadian Tombs
The cemetery was built in the 16th century by Ahmed Mansour for his ancestors, family and most faithful servants and soldiers.
