We conduct regular orientation dives with all our divers as their first dive practicing the essential diving skills such as mask clearing & alternate air source use. For divers who haven’t dived for a while ‘refresher courses’ are advised.. To ensure the safety of our guests, the instructors have been specially trained for emergencies and always take additional safety equipment with them. Oxygen (demand system), medical first aid kits, radios and mobile phones are available on all boats and the Marine Centers. Surface markers will be provided to all the divers for all the dives.

Our attention is naturally focused on avoiding emergencies before they occur, which is achieved by limiting the dives to a depth of 30 meters, making computers mandatory at all times and disallowing decompression dives. In case of emergencies, the nearest recompression chamber and clinic is only 20 minutes from Banyan Tree. In addition, we offer special dive insurance from DAN (Divers Alert Network).
